Who We’re Seeking

We are seeking a smart and reliable full-stack website designer who has both a solid understanding of good design principles and experience building a website with HTML and CSS. They must be willing and able to communicate with both technical and non-technical people. A high school diploma (or equivalent) is required. A strong portfolio and demonstrated skills are more important than formal education or professional certifications.

Job Description

The website designer is responsible for organizing images and text into a clean and visually appealing webpage layout. They will receive specific assignments from the website project manager and will be expected to build pages quickly while maintain the branding and style of each business. We are happy to train the right person on our custom CMS.


  • Build web pages which are ADA compliant and optimized for search engines.
  • Employ the best design and UX practices for websites.
  • Solve design problems in the fastest and easiest way possible.
  • Meet tight deadlines.
  • Stay organized to manage a variety of ongoing projects.
  • Edit text for grammar, spelling, and readability.
  • Perform basic image editing.
  • Pay close attention to details for pixel perfect designs.
  • Keep informed of SEO best practices and website design trends.
  • Maintain customer confidentiality and security.
  • Communicate with team members regularly.
  • Receive feedback and make adjustments as needed.

Required Skills

  • A demonstrated mastery of Adobe Photoshop.
  • Ability to communicate by email, phone, or video with a variety of people.
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills, receive honest feedback, and adapt methods.
  • Organization and prioritization.
  • High levels of motivation and the ability to self-manage.
  • Competency in MS Office.
  • Ability to maintain a sense of humor in stressful situations.
  • Familiarity with tourism or the lodging industry is a plus.

We offer a flexible work schedule, casual dress, and a variety of snacks and sodas. Pay range is $16-20, DOE. Please note: this is not a remote position.
